How to Write a Good Article

We are all aware the sheer power and efficacy of article marketing.  All of us can even say that article marketing is the most powerful and cost-effective online advertising tactic that has been invented since the creation of the digital realm.

The fact minus the fluff, if you own an online business, you have to exploit marketing with articles.

Nevertheless, one of the most asked questions I get is this: how does one prepare a good article?

It seems that even if most online businessmen realize that they have to pursue article marketing, not all of them are capable enough to craft a made-for-the-internet type of informative work.

Hence, I have listed some easy to follow steps on how you can write the best kind of good article for internet advertising purposes.

  1. Determine the subject you want to discuss with your article.

  2. Don't attempt to write about a broad topic.  Filter it down to a more specific subject that people will be fascinated with.  By way of example, don't tackle the general subject of "dogs."  Try to determine a sub-topic that will win the imagination of the people you will be aiming for.  As is often the case, this sub-topic points to a particular demand, like "dog training" for dog owners who are experiencing difficulty when it comes to living with their unruly pets, or "dog grooming" for clealiness compulsive dog owners who can't survive the smell of their untidy canine pets.  You need to discover a sub-topic that will click.  This is very important.  A lot of articles fail because they don't serve a more specific matter.

  3. Because the sub-topic should reflect a particular demand, your article must be able to share a remedy.  But, depending on how the article will be used, the answer you will share will vary.  By way of example, if the purpose of the article is to market a product, then practice restraint on the solution you will share.  Your goal, in such a case, is to give the impression that you are an expert in the field, and entice your readers to check out what you have to offer.  Keep this in mind as you prepare your article.

  4. Come up with a catchy grabbing title that is immediately understandable but nevertheless exciting.  People will visit your article if they will be hooked by its title.  Otherwise, no one will get to read what you have prepared.

  5. Do not forget that each article has three fundamental components: the opening, the body, and the conclusion.  The introduction will state to your audience what your article is all about.  You can deliver a surprising fact, an alarming statistic, or a humorous analogy to shake your audience into knowing that indeed, the author is the a true expert in the field.  The body will discuss the information you want to convey, naturally.  And the conclusion will summarize the problem, the provided solution, as well as interject some calls to action (i.e. click my link) if necessary.

  6. How long should your article be? It's safe to say that three hundred to seven hundred and fifty words would be perfect!

These are just some easy tips for article writing.  It is not hard to write a good article all it takes is a little planning and a little thought.  With time you will find it gets a lot easier.  For further tips on writing a good article and other ways you can increase your website traffic take a look at Marketeermum.
