Blogger vs Wordpress

Now I know that Google's blogger probably isn't the correct place for putting a topic of this nature given the bias that most people will have reading it on one or the other, but I am interested to know peoples thoughts on whether the Google blogger is the best from a promotional perspective over a Wordpress blog.

There are hundreds of plugins for Wordpress as far as SEO and promotion are concerned and one can get lost in installing these add-ons very quickly. Blogger is defiintely easy to use and quick to post items to, but doesn't have the ability to post to an api like Wordpress does.

Does blogger have the upper hand for getting links into Google quickly?
