An Affiliate Marketer’s Guide To Blogging

Advertising your affiliate links may prove to be difficult nowadays, what with several places on the web loathing - if not completely prohibiting- the posting of the said links on their sites.  The best means to go is to have your particular site which will host all of your affiliate links, and basically direct people to this one stop URL.

There are many varieties of websites you can create for this reason, but none will ever match up to  the complete flexibility, inherent control, and fantastic scope of a blog.

The expression "blog" has become an informal expression for online denizens, which rooted from "online chronicles."  Blogs were creacted to be net memoirs where patrons can publish about the eventualities of their days as well as their views for all of internet to see.

Blogs, still, are important internet marketing arms, mainly because of the following explanations:

-    Blogs are in actuality basic subject management systems.  Suppose Joomla, only, with an edge that even a 7-year old kid can make use of.  Because blogs are so simple to make use of, they are very within reach to an extensive group of persons, dealers included.

-    Blogs make content advertising enormously , enormously  easy.  Uploading additional subjects can be accomplished with just one click.  As such, most bloggers bring up to date their page more than once daily.  And we all understand that search engines like fresh substance and often updated web sites, correct?  This is the reason why blogs take over the primary few websites of relevant search engine results pages.

-    Blogs offer a more personal know-how for guests.  This is because blogs are connected with the bloggers that maintain them.  Every time recent accounts are posted, guests  understand that the blogger himself is  talking to them.  For promoting purposes, such a attribute of a blog makes high trust advertising very simple to work out.

Affiliate campaign via blogging is very, very basic.  IActually, we can sum up the method in 5 simple actions.

1.    Create a blog.  Either make a complimentary blog on blogger.com or wordpress.com, or download a variable- form blog and put it under your own domain, which is recommended.

2.    Search for keywords relevant to the theme of the affiliate article you need to advertise.

3.    Put an entry talking about the keyword or key phrase you learned.

4.    Suggest the affiliate piece you are promoting and leave your affiliate link.

5.    Submit all new entry to social news channels and social bookmarking sites similar to digg.com, reddit.com, propeller.com, technorati.com and del.icio.us.

Do this often, particularly at least  thrice each week, and you will instantly create a considerable quantity of leads for your affiliate marketing campaigns.

Funny names combinations through marriage

Following on from my entry on real-life funny names, here are some classic combinations of last names from when people get married. Reminds me of someone I once knew who realised that if she ended up marrying a guy she was friends with at the time, she would have become Debbie Gebbie!

Super Bluetooth Hack and cellphone security

I stumbled across a great mobile phone software site the other day by accident. Come to think of it, I can't even remember what I was looking for in the first place. It may have been because my wife is currently looking to replace her cellphone, and I was looking to see which brand and model cellphone is the easiest to unlock from any prior network.

First of all, I don't trust people who sell phones on eBay that are already unlocked. I can't help but feel I am aiding the trade in stolen phones somehow. So, time to learn how to unlock a phone on my own. Surely there are sites out there (probably set up by the same groups that pinch the phones en mass, but anyhow) that I can find codes that can do this right?

Well, that is probably how I stumbled across this site. Loaded with lots of free cellphone software, I started browsing through the extensive list, looking for anything that took my interest. By and large, the list was full of boredom buster type applications to play while on the long bus or train trip to work, but then I noticed super bluetooth hack...

If you haven't heard about Super Bluetooth Hack, or bluetooth hacking in general, perhaps if I remind you of the cellphone pictures of a very naked Paris Hilton that surfaced on the internet not so long ago. The story goes that someone managed to get within bluetooth range of the hotel heiress and her cell, and stole the pictures from it, as she had her bluetooth switched on.

I downloaded the application to see just what it could do, and tested it on my wife's LG U860. Sure enough, I could transfer across text messages, browse and download gallery images and even control the phone remotely! This is a scary prospect. It means once someone has access to your phone via bluetooth, they can place calls to other people from their phone, while you foot the bill. (It is possible to send text messages also, but why bother when each message is logged, and the phone call is not traceable)

There are also other apps out there that scan phones and report back on the various security issues inherent with that make or model... which a lot like securing your own ecommerce website by trying to hack it, should be run on your own phone first to see what you are vulnerable to.

The short term solution to staying safe... turn off bluetooth on your phone!

Camelot Amusements - One of Sydney's oldest inflatable rides companies and yet, still struggling to get traffic from the search term 'Jumping Castles Sydney'

We are looking at a consolidated approach to optimization here, with extra content relating to their core product line all helping in an overall picture of what the site is about. More content to be generated based on the following keywords:
party supplies
jumping castles
birthday party
party ideas
party games
party inflatables
birthday parties
party rentals
kids party
birthday party ideas
fantasy castles
inflatables
bouncy castles hire
inflatable slides

Sydney Wedding Music - Case Study

Currently the site www.sydneyweddingmusic.com.au is optimized for the three keywords in it's domain name - Sydney Wedding Music. This has been done reasonably well, and the search for this term brings the page up as the number one result in Google as well as ranking highly for both MSN and Yahoo also.

Several other keyword combinations rank reasonably also, but the goal is to increase it's exposure on the internet by adding more targeted pages to the site for higher searched terms, bringing previously untapped but highly relevant traffic to the site.

Some of these terms will be:
wedding songs
wedding music
wedding reception songs
wedding musicians
wedding song list
sydney wedding venues
wedding reception music
listen to wedding music
wedding ceremony music
popular wedding songs
top wedding songs
wedding jazz band

eBay Broken!

It's always funny when large internet companies such as Google and the like make blunders on their sites. One that springs to mind is when someone at Google accidentally deleted the official Google blog from blogger.com, (requiring and address to change from http://google.blogspot.com) which an astute member of the public claimed while it was free.

The latest slip up from eBay happened today when they have obviously made changes to the site, be it to increase user security or whatever, it doesn't matter. At the moment the site is unusable to Mac users, with the site asking if you wish to download the eBay isapi dll when trying to log in...!
